Chadwick Riding Area is home to roughly 80 miles of ATV, motorcycle, and mountain bike trails. These trails have become very difficult to ride due to weather and erosion. This riding area is estimated at around 12 square miles in the Mark Twain National Forest. It is one of the top two ATV parks in Missouri, the other being St. Joe Park.
Riding permit is required and can be purchased at several locations including the Ava Park Ranger Station, Casey's General Store in Sparta, Kay's Country Country Store in Chadwick, Branson West Powersport in Branson. You should always call before you attempt to buy a pass, some stores sell out of them.
ATVs/Motorcycles: $45 $7
Mountain bikes: $20 $3

The ATV must meet the definition of an ATV.
Can only ride on marked trails (as shown on MVUM).
ATVís are not permitted off of designated trails, no cross-country travel.
Your ATV must not be over 50 inches in width.
ATV will need to be equipped with a working muffler and spark arrester.
ATV must have operable brakes.
Permits are valid at both Chadwick and Sutton Bluff Motorcycle and ATV Use Areas.
UTVs are NOT permitted on the motorized trails at Chadwick.
Riders under the age of 18 must wear approved motorcycle helmets.
